1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 117
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 117 on page 3 by
3 replacing lines 22 through 33 with the following:
4 "(a-15) There shall be an authorized community-based
5 residential rehabilitation center alternative health care
6 model in the demonstration program. The community-based
7 residential rehabilitation center shall be located in the
8 area of Illinois south of Interstate Highway 70."; and
9 on page 4, line 4, by replacing "Alternative" with the
10 following:
11 "If, after obtaining its initial certificate of need, an
12 alternative health care delivery model that is a community
13 based residential rehabilitation center seeks to increase the
14 bed capacity of that center, it must obtain a certificate of
15 need from the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board
16 before increasing the bed capacity. Alternative"; and
17 on page 9 by replacing lines 20 through 23 with the
18 following:
19 "The residential rehabilitation center authorized by the
20 Department may have more than one residence included
21 under the license."; and
22 on page 10 by replacing lines 6 through 10 with the

1 following:
2 "The programs provided in this setting shall be
3 accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of
4 Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The program shall have
5 been accredited by CARF".
