1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor organizations within the
4 State of Illinois who make contributions to their community;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, The Cissna Park Future Farmers of America
7 Chapter received recognition by being named to the "Model of
8 Innovations" list in the area of community service at the
9 National F.F.A. Convention, held in Louisville, Kentucky; and
10 WHEREAS, The Cissna Park F.F.A. Chapter was selected
11 based on their work in the community, including their work on
12 the playground in the park, their work on the Fire Safety and
13 TASK Program at the area grade school, and their work on the
14 Fire Safety Program and 911 sign program; and
15 WHEREAS, The selection committee also made their decision
16 based on the Cissna Park F.F.A. Chapter and their work during
17 Old Settlers Day and community clean up day, and their
18 efforts with the roadside pick up on Route 49; and
19 WHEREAS, The members of the Cissna Park Future Farmers of
20 America Chapter and their leader, Mr. Lynch, are to commended
21 for their hard work and willingness to help others;
22 therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
25 we congratulate the Cissna Park Future Farmers of America
26 Chapter on being named to the "Model of Innovations" list in
27 the area of community service at the National F.F.A.
28 Convention; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the Cissna Park Future Farmers of America
31 Chapter.
