1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives
4 of Illinois' citizens; and
5 WHEREAS, On June 11, 2000, the Morris Fire Department
6 will be honoring three of their own, three members
7 celebrating forty years with the Department; and
8 WHEREAS, Glenn F. Bright was born and raised in Morris;
9 he is a graduate of Morris Community High School; and
10 WHEREAS, Glenn F. Bright has served as a firefighter
11 since 1960; he has served as the Fire Department Secretary,
12 Treasurer, a Lieutenant with the Emergency Squad, Captain,
13 Past President, Firefighter 1 and 2, and is a member of the
14 Countywide 911 Committee; and
15 WHEREAS, Glenn F. Bright is married to Peggy, and they
16 have two children, Nan and Glenda; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we congratulate Glenn F. Bright on his fortieth anniversary
20 with the Morris Fire Department; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Glenn F. Bright.
