1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wishes to
3 acknowledge the winning season of the Montini Catholic High
4 School Wrestling Team; and
5 WHEREAS, The team record for 1999-2000 was an impressive
6 29-1; the team ended the season as the Hinsdale South
7 Tournament Champions, the Geneva Invitational Champions, the
8 Northern Illinois Independent Wrestling Conference Champions,
9 the IHSA Class "A" Regional Champions, and the IHSA Class "A"
10 State Champions; and
11 WHEREAS, The State tournament was won by Montini Catholic
12 beating Reed-Custer in the quarterfinals, Stanford-Olympia in
13 the semifinals, and finally beating Clinton to earn the State
14 Championship; and
15 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives wishes to
16 congratulate Principal James F. Segredo, Head Coach Mike
17 Bukovsky, Assistants Jim Izzo, Jeff Bukovsky, Don Forysth,
18 Chris Andriano, John Dziewiatkowski, and Karl Schmidt, and
19 wrestlers, Scott Andriano, Chase Beebe, Cole Beebe, Joe
20 Belgio, Pat Carey, Adam Clay, Mike Colianne, Craig
21 Dziewiatkowski, Ted Echemann, Trevor Ekstrom, Tim Finegan,
22 Rob Frytz, Mike Grimes, Ed Holden, Dan Jamieson, Rey Monis,
23 Paul Murphy, Mike Norton, Ryan O'Connor, Jack Olin, Matt
24 Piper, Mike Rusnak, Jim Ryan, Joel Shea, Joe Sipek, and Greg
25 Strzempek on their truly remarkable season; therefore, be it
26 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
28 we congratulate the Montini Catholic Wrestling Team on a job
29 well done; and be it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
31 presented to Principal James F. Segredo, Coach Mike Bukovsky,
