1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives
4 of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Ruby Frank of St. Charles, Illinois, was
6 recently voted one of the "Top 20 of the 20th Century" in her
7 community of St. Charles; Ms. Frank received this honor based
8 on her devotion to business, community work, and charitable
9 causes;and
10 WHEREAS, Ruby Frank started Frank's Employment in 1957;
11 the company was started to help mothers re-enter the work
12 force after taking time to establish their families; her
13 business continues to help people find positions today; and
14 WHEREAS, Ruby Frank has been a volunteer in the St.
15 Charles Chamber of Commerce, serving in the past as its
16 president; she has been president of the Chamber's
17 Ambassador's Club; and she participated in the Chamber's
18 Women's Council; in 1982 she received the Chamber's
19 Charlemagne Award; and
20 WHEREAS, She has served on the board of St. Charles
21 Savings and Loan, the Delnor Community Hospital Board, the
22 Hotel Baker Living Center Board, the Aurora University Board,
23 and the Kane-DuPage Personnel Association Board; Ms. Frank
24 has also served not-for-profit organizations such as the St.
25 Charles Heritage Center; therefore, be it
26 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
28 we recognize Ruby Frank on being honored as one of the "Top
29 20 of the 20th Century" by the community of St. Charles,
30 Illinois; and be it further
31 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
