1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Clifton
6 Herford of Chicago is celebrating the 100th anniversary of
7 his birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Clifton Herford has seen many changes in his
9 lifetime and is to be lifted up for reaching this memorable
10 moment in his life; he is a man who young people can go to
11 and ask about the past, and gain insight about the future;
12 therefore, be it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we congratulate Clifton Herford on the occasion of his
16 birthday and extend to Clifton Herford our sincere best
17 wishes for the future; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Clifton Herford as an expression of our respect
20 and esteem.
