91_HR0368 LRB9106988KBkb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc. was 3 established as a non-profit organization on July 1, 1984 to 4 provide quality, confidential services to those who 5 experience or are affected by mental, emotional, or 6 situational crises; and 7 WHEREAS, Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc. provides 8 the services of crisis intervention, hotline face-to-face, 9 crisis residential, MISA residential, MISA case management, 10 community placement program, and COHEARTS in Madison County; 11 and 12 WHEREAS, Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc. provides 13 crisis intervention hotline services to community mental 14 health centers, employee assistance programs, and private 15 therapists throughout the continental United States; and 16 WHEREAS, Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc. has 17 tirelessly supported and advocated for the needs of 18 individuals with severe and chronic mental illness to provide 19 a seamless set of services through assessment, linkage, and 20 referral; and 21 WHEREAS, Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc. has been a 22 leader in educating the community about mental illness and 23 the services available through the Madison County Connection 24 and the Madison County Directory of Social Services; 25 therefore, be it 26 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 27 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 28 we hereby declare July 1, 1999 as Behavioral Health 29 Alternatives Day in Wood River, Illinois; and be it further 30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 31 presented to Behavioral Health Alternatives, Inc.
