1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Philip Lawrence St. Aubin, son of Donald St.
3 Aubin and Gladys Denning, and Aileen Marie Mongoven, daughter
4 of Francis Mongoven and Honore Bresnahan, met in Chicago,
5 Illinois, in 1957; and
6 WHEREAS, Philip and Aileen were married on Saturday, May
7 23, 1959 at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Chicago; and
8 WHEREAS, The marriage of Philip and Aileen was blessed by
9 the birth of six children: Philip Francis in 1960, Gregory
10 Robert and David Brian in 1961, Colette Marie in 1963, Peter
11 Christopher in 1967, and Aimee Therese in 1969; and
12 WHEREAS, Philip and Aileen are the proud grandparents of
13 four grandchildren: Madeline St. Aubin and Connor, Shannon,
14 and Shelagh Healey; and
15 WHEREAS, A cornerstone of their life together has been
16 their involvement in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in
17 Glenview, Illinois, through which they performed many good
18 deeds for their community and for those less fortunate, and
19 through which they formed many lifelong friendships; and
20 WHEREAS, The State of Illinois is proud to recognize the
21 example that Philip and Aileen have provided to all of the
22 people of this State through their steadfast devotion to each
23 other, their family, and to their community; and
24 WHEREAS, Philip and Aileen will celebrate the fortieth
25 anniversary of their marriage on Sunday, May 23, 1999;
26 therefore, be it
27 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
28 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
29 we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Philip and Aileen
30 St. Aubin on the occasion of their fortieth anniversary; and
