1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, Juliet K. Priebe of Lake Forest has been honored
6 with the Garden Club of America Zone XI Horticulture Award
7 for 1999; and
8 WHEREAS, Juliet K. Priebe is a distinguished gardener
9 and recognized for her horticultural talent and stewardship
10 throughout the State of Illinois; and
11 WHEREAS, Juliet K. Priebe's dedication and expertise as a
12 gardener includes numerous horticulture awards; she is a
13 board member and past president of the Lake Forest Garden
14 Club, president of the Woman's Board of the Chicago Botanic
15 Garden, and board member of Market Square 2000; therefore, be
16 it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we congratulate Juliet K. Priebe on receiving the Garden Club
20 of America Zone XI Horticulture Award for 1999 and extend to
21 her our best wishes for the future; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to her as a token of our esteem.
