1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to acknowledge milestones in the
4 lives of citizens of the State; and
5 WHEREAS, Bruce Boudreaux, Glencoe, Illinois' community
6 service officer, is also the 1998 Glencoe Employee of the
7 Year; and
8 WHEREAS, Bruce Boudreaux is a familiar sight around
9 Glencoe; he can be seen working as a crossing guard at the
10 school, directing traffic, or helping someone find their lost
11 pet; people recognize him, and shouts of "Hi Bruce" or "Hi,
12 Mr. Boudreaux" can be heard around the quiet community; and
13 WHEREAS, Bruce Boudreaux begins his day at 6:30 a.m.; he
14 checks in at the roll call room and reviews the homes listed
15 on the house watch; he then walks the streets of town,
16 marking tires and ensuring that everyone abides by the
17 two-hour parking regulations; and
18 WHEREAS, For thirty years, Bruce Boudreaux has worked in
19 Glencoe, either as a volunteer fireman, an animal warden, or
20 in his current position; Bruce Boudreaux's wife, Pat, has
21 worked for the Park District for the past sixteen years, so
22 together they are recognized in the community; and
23 WHEREAS, Many people can attest to the good job that
24 Bruce Boudreaux does for Glencoe; he is quick to help out in
25 a variety of situations; therefore, be it
26 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
28 we congratulate Bruce Boudreaux on being named the 1998
29 Glencoe Employee of the Year; he is a shining example of
30 dedication to his craft; and be it further

2 presented to Bruce Boudreaux.
