1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Village of Lake
4 Bluff Police Department on their full accreditation by the
5 Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies on
6 the 20th of March, 1999; and
7 WHEREAS, Chief Fredrick Day, Lt. Carl Schons, Sgt. David
8 Belmonte, Sgt. Debby Hartwig, Sgt. Murray Michelsen, officers
9 Sam Canzoneri, Eric Carstensen, Keith Landy, James Lee,
10 Donald Paulsen, Joshua Pingel, Gerard Riforgiato, David
11 Thomas, David Wilson, and dispatchers Kristin Anderson and
12 Holly Howe are to be congratulated for their efforts toward
13 the accreditation of the Lake Bluff Police Department as the
14 smallest agency in Illinois, and the eighth smallest
15 internationally; and
16 WHEREAS, Through this achievement, the Lake Bluff Police
17 Department can now continue their efforts to keep their
18 community safe and crime free; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we congratulate the Lake Bluff Police Department for
22 demonstrating commitment to professional law enforcement in
23 policy and practice; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the Lake Bluff Police Department.
