1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, This body honors and recognizes the retirement
3 of Jack Oakley, who served as the Sangamon County Farm Bureau
4 Manager for 25 years; and
5 WHEREAS, During his 25 years, he dedicated and gave
6 generously of his time, energy, and talent to the Farm
7 Bureau; and
8 WHEREAS, Jack Oakley and his wife, Margaret, will long be
9 remembered as an important part of the organization; and
10 WHEREAS, Throughout his 25 years with the Sangamon County
11 Farm Bureau, Jack Oakley has been known for his unfailing
12 grace, good humor, and leadership skills; and
13 WHEREAS, On June 25, 1999, Jack Oakley will be honored by
14 his many friends and colleagues as he ventures on into this
15 great world in which we all live; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we congratulate Jack Oakley for his 25 years as the Sangamon
19 County Farm Bureau Manager; that we commend him for his
20 devotion to the organization; and that we extend our best
21 wishes to him for continued health and happiness in the
22 future; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to Jack Oakley.
