1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that the Southern
3 Illinois University School of Dental Medicine has received
4 word that they have moved themselves into the national elite;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, The dental students, like those in 54 other
7 dental schools across the country, take National Board Dental
8 Exams each year; this year the students ranked second
9 nationally in the latest round of exams; and
10 WHEREAS, This outstanding performance is a tribute to
11 everyone at the dental school; therefore, be it
12 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
13 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14 we congratulate the students, faculty, and staff of the
15 Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine on the
16 excellent job of representing themselves, the University, and
17 the State of Illinois; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to David Werner, Chancellor of Southern Illinois
20 University at Edwardsville.
