1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, James Edward Brooks, son of Twana Brooks of
3 Springfield, received second place in the Springfield School
4 District 186 Spelling Bee; and
5 WHEREAS, James Edward Brooks is also the grandson of
6 James Chappell; and
7 WHEREAS, He is a sixth grade student at Feitshans 6th
8 Grade Center, where he is a High Honor Roll Student; and
9 WHEREAS, He is also a member of the school band and
10 choir; he also competed in the Heritage Bowl on February 27;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, James Edward Brooks has won the respect and
13 admiration of all who know him; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
16 we congratulate James Edward Brooks on winning second place
17 in the Springfield School District 186 Spelling Bee and
18 extend our best wishes for his continued health and
19 happiness; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to him as an expression of our esteem.
