1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognized significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Esther
6 Peterson Rueschaw of Park Ridge, Illinois, is celebrating the
7 95th anniversary of her birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Esther was born February 23, 1904, in Chicago,
9 Illinois, to Ture Peterson and Emily Peterson; her father was
10 a renowned mason known for his work building churches in the
11 Chicago area; and
12 WHEREAS, Esther Peterson married Harry R. Rueschaw on
13 July 1, 1939; and
14 WHEREAS, Esther Peterson is the proud mother of Elaine E.
15 Jorndt; she is the proud grandmother of Elizabeth E. Jorndt;
16 and
17 WHEREAS, She worked as a full-time secretary until
18 retiring at age 84; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we congratulate Esther Peterson Rueschaw on the occasion of
22 her 95th birthday and extend to Esther our sincere best
23 wishes for the future; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Esther Peterson Rueschaw as an expression of our
26 respect and esteem.
