91_HR0047 LRB9102075KBkbA 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The highest award the National Council of the 3 Boy Scouts of America can bestow upon a Scout is that of 4 Eagle Scout; and 5 WHEREAS, Jason M. Wolff of Boy Scout Troop 60, in Berwyn, 6 Illinois, received the Eagle Scout Award at a Court of Honor 7 held on January 24, 1999, at St. Odilo Hall in Berwyn; and 8 WHEREAS, In order to qualify as an Eagle Scout, a young 9 man must demonstrate outstanding qualities of leadership, a 10 willingness to be of help to others, and superior skills in 11 camping, lifesaving, and first aid; and 12 WHEREAS, In earning this high rank, Jason joins an elite 13 and honorable fraternity of achievers that counts among its 14 members an extraordinary number of this nation's great 15 leaders in business, government, education, and other sectors 16 of society; and 17 WHEREAS, The achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout 18 reflects favorably upon the recipient, his justly proud 19 family, his Scoutmaster, and his fellow scouts; therefore, be 20 it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 22 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 23 we join his family and friends in congratulating Jason Wolff 24 upon attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and commend 25 him upon the unswerving dedication to excellence that is the 26 hallmark of the Eagle Scout; and be it further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to Eagle Scout Jason Wolff as an expression of our 29 respect and esteem.
