1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its
3 Report on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated May 1, 1999,
4 with the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the
5 Secretary of State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g
6 of the School Code; therefore, be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
9 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is
10 encouraged to promptly review and evaluate the Report and
11 determine whether to disapprove, in whole or in part, the
12 Report or any waiver request or appealed request outlined in
13 the Report.
