1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4562
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4562, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting the
4 following:
5 "Section 5. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, are appropriated to the Teachers'
7 Retirement System of the State of Illinois for the State's
8 Contribution, as provided by law:
9 Payable from the General Revenue Fund ..... $ 617,977,000
10 Payable from the Common School Fund ....... 44,200,000
11 (Total, this Section, $662,177,000)
12 Section 10. The amount of $42,050,000, or so much
13 thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
14 Revenue Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State
15 of Illinois for transfer into the Teachers' Health Insurance
16 Security Fund as the State's Contribution for teachers'
17 health benefits.
18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
19 1, 2000.".
