The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic 3 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for awards and 4 grants for historic preservation programs made either 5 independently or in cooperation with the Federal Government 6 or any agency thereof, any municipal corporation, or 7 political subdivision of the State, or with any public or 8 private corporation, organization, or individual. 9 Section 3c. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as 10 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 11 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations and 12 reappropriations heretofore made in Article 30, Sections 3b 13 and 3c of Public Act 91-0020, as amended, is reappropriated 14 from the Illinois Historic Sites Fund to the Historic 15 Preservation Agency for awards and grants for historic 16 preservation programs made either independently or in 17 cooperation with the Federal Government or any agency 18 thereof, any municipal corporation, or political subdivision 19 of the State, or with any public or private corporation, 20 organization, or individual. 21 Section 3d. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 22 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 23 Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to make Illinois 24 Heritage Grants for the purpose of planning, survey, 25 rehabilitation, restoration, reconstruction, landscaping and 26 acquisition of Illinois properties designated on the National 27 Register of Historic Places or as a landmark based on a 28 county or municipal ordinance or those located within certain 29 historic districts deemed historically significant. 30 Section 4. The sum of $600,000, or so much thereof as 6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic 7 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for 8 operations, maintenance, repairs, permanent improvements, 9 special events, and all other costs related to the operation 10 of Illinois Historic Sites and only to the extent which 11 donations are received at Illinois State Historic Sites. 12 Section 5b. The sum of $122,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Historic 14 Preservation Agency from the General Revenue Fund for 15 operations of the Apple River Fort historic site. 16 Section 5c. The sum of $800,000, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Historic 18 Preservation Agency from the General Revenue Fund for 19 programs and purposes including repairing, maintaining, 20 reconstructing, rehabilitating, replacing, fixed assets, 21 construction and development, studies, all costs for 22 supplies, materials, labor, land acquisition and its related 23 costs, services and other expenses at historic sites. 24 Section 6. The sum of $394,700, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 26 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations heretofore 27 made in Article 30, Section 7 of Public Act 91-0022, as 28 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 29 the Historic Preservation Agency for the restoration of the 30 Jarrot Mansion. -9- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 Section 7. The amount of $84,700, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 3 business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore 4 made for such purpose in Article 30, Section 8 of Public Act 5 91-0020, as amended, is reappropriated from the General 6 Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for planning 7 a new historical library and Lincoln Center. 8 Section 8. The sum of $1,144,000, or so much thereof as 9 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 10 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations heretofore 11 made in Article 30, Section 10 of Public Act 91-0020, as 12 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 13 the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Mid South 14 Planning and Development Commission for the restoration of 15 the Overton Hygienic Building. 16 Section 9. The sum of $150,000, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 18 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 19 made in Article 30, Section 11 of Public Act 91-0020, as 20 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 21 the Historic Preservation Agency for a 50 percent matching 22 grant to the City of Chicago for all costs associated with 23 the evaluation of the Pullman Historic Site. 24 Section 10. The sum of $51,700, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 26 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 27 made in Article 30, Section 13 of Public Act 91-0020, as 28 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 29 the Historic Preservation Agency for the operations of the 30 Pierre Martin/Boismenue House. -10- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 Section 11. The sum of $66,000, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 3 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 4 made in Article 30, Section 18 of Public Act 91-0020, as 5 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 6 the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to Williamson 7 County for the clean up and restoration of abandoned, 8 neglected cemeteries. 9 Section 12. The amounts appropriated for repairs and 10 maintenance and other capital improvements in Section 5c of 11 this Article for repairs and/or replacements, and 12 miscellaneous capital improvements at the agency's various 13 historical sites, and are to include construction, 14 reconstruction, improvements, repairs and installation of 15 capital facilities, costs of planning, supplies, materials, 16 and all other types of repairs and maintenance, and capital 17 improvements. 18 No contract shall be entered into or obligation incurred 19 for repairs and maintenance and other capital improvements 20 from appropriations made in Section 5c of this Article until 21 after the purposes and amounts have been approved in writing 22 by the Governor. 23 Section 13. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as 24 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 25 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 26 made in Article 30, Section 22 of Public Act 91-0020,as 27 amended, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 28 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 29 Village of Alto Pass for a new civic/community center. 30 Section 14. The sum of $180,000, or so much thereof as 31 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of -11- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 2 made in Article 30, Section 23 of Public Act 91-0020, as 3 amended, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 4 to the Historic Preservation Agency for improvements to the 5 Galena State Historic Sites for the Ulysses S. Grant 6 Visitors Center. 7 Section 15. The amount of $15,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 10 made in Article 30, Section 24 of Public Act 91-0020, as 11 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 12 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 13 the City of Salem for all costs associated with the William 14 Jennings Bryan Museum. 15 Section 16. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 16 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 17 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 18 made in Article 30, Section 25 of Public Act 91-0020, as 19 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 20 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 21 the Rogers Park Historical Society. 22 Section 17. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 23 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 24 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 25 made in Article 30, Section 26 of Public Act 91-0020, as 26 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 27 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 28 the Edgewater Historical Facility. 29 Section 18. The amount of $40,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 31 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore -12- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 made in Article 30, Section 27 of Public Act 91-0020, as 2 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 3 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 4 of Collinsville for all costs associated with renovating the 5 Blum House Historical Site. 6 Section 19. The amount of $40,000, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 8 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 9 made in Article 30, Section 28 of Public Act 91-0020, as 10 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 11 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Minors 12 Theater Institution in Collinsville for all costs associated 13 with historical sites improvements. 14 Section 20. The amount of $2,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 16 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 17 made in Article 30, Section 29 of Public Act 91-0020, as 18 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 19 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 20 the Village of Worth Historical Society. 21 Section 21. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 22 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 23 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 24 made in Article 30, Section 30 of Public Act 91-0020, as 25 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 26 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Villa 27 Improvement League for all costs associated with 28 beautification projects in the national historical community. 29 Section 22. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of -13- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 2 made in Article 30, Section 31 of Public Act 91-0020, as 3 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 4 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Irvine 5 Park Historical Society for all costs associated with 6 cataloging and restoration of the photography collection. 7 Section 23. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 10 made in Article 30, Section 32 of Public Act 91-0020, as 11 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 12 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to City of 13 Marissa for all costs associated with improvements to the 14 Marissa Academy. 15 Section 24. The amount of $180,000, or so much thereof 16 as may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 17 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 18 made in Article 30, Section 33 of Public Act 91-0020, as 19 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 20 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to the 21 Canal Corridor Association for the purpose of all costs 22 associated with the production and marketing of a film made 23 by Prairie Tides Productions. 24 Section 25. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 26 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 27 made in Article 30, Section 34 of Public Act 91-0020, as 28 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 29 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a one time grant to 30 the Monroe County Historical Society. -14- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 Section 26. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 3 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 4 made in Article 30, Section 35 of Public Act 91-0020, as 5 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 6 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 7 the Washington County Historical Society. 8 Section 27. The amount of $20,000, or so much thereof as 9 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 10 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 11 made in Article 30, Section 36 of Public Act 91-0020, as 12 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 13 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to the 14 Randolph County Historical Society for all costs associated 15 with improvements to Shiloh Hill College. 16 Section 28. The amount of $2,500, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 18 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 19 made in Article 30, Section 37 of Public Act 91-0020, as 20 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 21 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 22 the Hyde Park Historical Society for the purpose of all costs 23 associated with youth education programs. 24 Section 29. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 26 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 27 made in Article 30, Section 38 of Public Act 91-0020, as 28 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 29 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Forest 30 Preserve District of DuPage County for all costs associated 31 with Graue Mill. -15- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 Section 30. The sum of $1,015,500, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 3 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 4 made in Article 30, Section 39 of Public Act 91-0020, as 5 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 6 to the Historic Preservation Agency for grants to units of 7 local government, educational facilities, and not-for-profit 8 organizations for infrastructure improvements, including but 9 not limited to planning, construction, reconstruction, 10 renovation, equipment, utilities and vehicles. 11 Section 31. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as 12 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 13 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 14 made in Article 30, Section 40 of Public Act 91-0020, as 15 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 16 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 17 Edwardsville for the Wildey Theater acquisition and 18 restoration to the original state. 19 Section 32. The sum of $260,500, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 21 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 22 made in Article 30, Section 41 of Public Act 91-0020, as 23 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 24 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 25 Madison County Historical Museum to repair and renovate Weir 26 House and annexation. 27 Section 33. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as 28 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 29 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 30 made in Article 30, Section 43 of Public Act 91-0020, as 31 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future -16- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 2 of Joliet for the Joliet Historical Society establishment of 3 the Joliet Area History Museum. 4 Section 34. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as 5 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 6 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 7 made in Article 30, Section 44 of Public Act 91-0020, as 8 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 9 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 10 Village of Oak Park for Ernest Hemingway birthplace 11 restoration. 12 Section 35. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 14 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 15 made in Article 30, Section 45 of Public Act 91-0020, as 16 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' 17 Future to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to 18 the Canal Corridor Association for Illinois and Michigan 19 Canal. 20 Section 36. The sum of $55,000, or so much thereof as 21 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 22 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 23 made in Article 30, Section 46 of Public Act 91-0020, as 24 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 25 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to Friends of 26 the Albany Mounds Foundation for land acquisition. 27 Section 37. The sum of $1,295,000, or so much thereof as 28 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 29 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 30 made in Article 30, Section 47 of Public Act 91-0020, as -17- HDS91HB4507GPa107cm 1 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 2 to the Historic Preservation Agency for grants to units of 3 local government and not-for-profit organizations for 4 infrastructure improvements, including but not limited to 5 planning, construction, renovation, restoration and 6 equipment. 7 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 8 July 1, 2000.".
