The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as 18 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 19 Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to computerize 20 survey files used in regulatory review and compliance and 21 National Register programs. 22 Section 3b. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as 23 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic 24 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for awards and 25 grants for historic preservation programs made either 26 independently or in cooperation with the Federal Government 27 or any agency thereof, any municipal corporation, or 28 political subdivision of the State, or with any public or 29 private corporation, organization, or individual. 30 Section 3c. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as 31 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of -5- BOB-HPA01 1 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations and 2 reappropriations heretofore made in Article 30, Sections 3b 3 and 3c of Public Act 91-0020, as amended, is reappropriated 4 from the Illinois Historic Sites Fund to the Historic 5 Preservation Agency for awards and grants for historic 6 preservation programs made either independently or in 7 cooperation with the Federal Government or any agency 8 thereof, any municipal corporation, or political subdivision 9 of the State, or with any public or private corporation, 10 organization, or individual. 11 Section 3d. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as 12 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 13 Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to make Illinois 14 Heritage Grants for the purpose of planning, survey, 15 rehabilitation, restoration, reconstruction, landscaping and 16 acquisition of Illinois properties designated on the National 17 Register of Historic Places or as a landmark based on a 18 county or municipal ordinance or those located within certain 19 historic districts deemed historically significant. 20 Section 4. The sum of $600,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic 30 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for 31 operations, maintenance, repairs, permanent improvements, 32 special events, and all other costs related to the operation 33 of Illinois Historic Sites and only to the extent which -8- BOB-HPA01 1 donations are received at Illinois State Historic Sites. 2 Section 5b. The sum of $122,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Historic 4 Preservation Agency from the General Revenue Fund for 5 operations of the Apple River Fort historic site. 6 Section 5c. The sum of $800,000, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Historic 8 Preservation Agency from the General Revenue Fund for 9 programs and purposes including repairing, maintaining, 10 reconstructing, rehabilitating, replacing, fixed assets, 11 construction and development, studies, all costs for 12 supplies, materials, labor, land acquisition and its related 13 costs, services and other expenses at historic sites. 14 Section 6. The sum of $394,700, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 16 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations heretofore 17 made in Article 30, Section 7 of Public Act 91-0022, as 18 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 19 the Historic Preservation Agency for the restoration of the 20 Jarrot Mansion. 21 Section 7. The amount of $84,700, or so much thereof as 22 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 23 business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore 24 made for such purpose in Article 30, Section 8 of Public Act 25 91-0020, as amended, is reappropriated from the General 26 Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for planning 27 a new historical library and Lincoln Center. 28 Section 8. The sum of $1,144,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of -9- BOB-HPA01 1 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations heretofore 2 made in Article 30, Section 10 of Public Act 91-0020, as 3 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 4 the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Mid South 5 Planning and Development Commission for the restoration of 6 the Overton Hygienic Building. 7 Section 9. The sum of $150,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 10 made in Article 30, Section 11 of Public Act 91-0020, as 11 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 12 the Historic Preservation Agency for a 50 percent matching 13 grant to the City of Chicago for all costs associated with 14 the evaluation of the Pullman Historic Site. 15 Section 10. The sum of $51,700, or so much thereof as 16 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 17 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 18 made in Article 30, Section 13 of Public Act 91-0020, as 19 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 20 the Historic Preservation Agency for the operations of the 21 Pierre Martin/Boismenue House. 22 Section 11. The sum of $66,000, or so much thereof as 23 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 24 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 25 made in Article 30, Section 18 of Public Act 91-0020, as 26 amended, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 27 the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to Williamson 28 County for the clean up and restoration of abandoned, 29 neglected cemeteries. 30 Section 12. The amounts appropriated for repairs and -10- BOB-HPA01 1 maintenance and other capital improvements in Section 5c of 2 this Article for repairs and/or replacements, and 3 miscellaneous capital improvements at the agency's various 4 historical sites, and are to include construction, 5 reconstruction, improvements, repairs and installation of 6 capital facilities, costs of planning, supplies, materials, 7 and all other types of repairs and maintenance, and capital 8 improvements. 9 No contract shall be entered into or obligation incurred 10 for repairs and maintenance and other capital improvements 11 from appropriations made in Section 5c of this Article until 12 after the purposes and amounts have been approved in writing 13 by the Governor. 14 Section 13. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 16 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 17 made in Article 30, Section 22 of Public Act 91-0020,as 18 amended, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 19 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 20 Village of Alto Pass for a new civic/community center. 21 Section 14. The sum of $180,000, or so much thereof as 22 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 23 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 24 made in Article 30, Section 23 of Public Act 91-0020, as 25 amended, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 26 to the Historic Preservation Agency for improvements to the 27 Galena State Historic Sites for the Ulysses S. Grant 28 Visitors Center. 29 Section 15. The amount of $15,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 31 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore -11- BOB-HPA01 1 made in Article 30, Section 24 of Public Act 91-0020, as 2 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 3 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 4 the City of Salem for all costs associated with the William 5 Jennings Bryan Museum. 6 Section 16. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 8 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 9 made in Article 30, Section 25 of Public Act 91-0020, as 10 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 11 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 12 the Rogers Park Historical Society. 13 Section 17. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 14 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 15 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 16 made in Article 30, Section 26 of Public Act 91-0020, as 17 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 18 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 19 the Edgewater Historical Facility. 20 Section 18. The amount of $40,000, or so much thereof as 21 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 22 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 23 made in Article 30, Section 27 of Public Act 91-0020, as 24 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 25 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 26 of Collinsville for all costs associated with renovating the 27 Blum House Historical Site. 28 Section 19. The amount of $40,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 30 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 31 made in Article 30, Section 28 of Public Act 91-0020, as -12- BOB-HPA01 1 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 2 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Minors 3 Theater Institution in Collinsville for all costs associated 4 with historical sites improvements. 5 Section 20. The amount of $2,000, or so much thereof as 6 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 7 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 8 made in Article 30, Section 29 of Public Act 91-0020, as 9 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 10 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 11 the Village of Worth Historical Society. 12 Section 21. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 14 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 15 made in Article 30, Section 30 of Public Act 91-0020, as 16 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 17 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Villa 18 Improvement League for all costs associated with 19 beautification projects in the national historical community. 20 Section 22. The amount of $10,000, or so much thereof as 21 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 22 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 23 made in Article 30, Section 31 of Public Act 91-0020, as 24 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 25 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Irvine 26 Park Historical Society for all costs associated with 27 cataloging and restoration of the photography collection. 28 Section 23. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 30 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore -13- BOB-HPA01 1 made in Article 30, Section 32 of Public Act 91-0020, as 2 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 3 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to City of 4 Marissa for all costs associated with improvements to the 5 Marissa Academy. 6 Section 24. The amount of $180,000, or so much thereof 7 as may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 8 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 9 made in Article 30, Section 33 of Public Act 91-0020, as 10 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 11 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to the 12 Canal Corridor Association for the purpose of all costs 13 associated with the production and marketing of a film made 14 by Prairie Tides Productions. 15 Section 25. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 16 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 17 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 18 made in Article 30, Section 34 of Public Act 91-0020, as 19 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 20 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a one time grant to 21 the Monroe County Historical Society. 22 Section 26. The amount of $5,000, or so much thereof as 23 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 24 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 25 made in Article 30, Section 35 of Public Act 91-0020, as 26 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 27 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 28 the Washington County Historical Society. 29 Section 27. The amount of $20,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of -14- BOB-HPA01 1 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 2 made in Article 30, Section 36 of Public Act 91-0020, as 3 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 4 to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to the 5 Randolph County Historical Society for all costs associated 6 with improvements to Shiloh Hill College. 7 Section 28. The amount of $2,500, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 10 made in Article 30, Section 37 of Public Act 91-0020, as 11 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 12 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a one-time grant to 13 the Hyde Park Historical Society for the purpose of all costs 14 associated with youth education programs. 15 Section 29. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as 16 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 17 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 18 made in Article 30, Section 38 of Public Act 91-0020, as 19 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 20 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the Forest 21 Preserve District of DuPage County for all costs associated 22 with Graue Mill. 23 Section 30. The sum of $1,015,500, or so much thereof as 24 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 25 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 26 made in Article 30, Section 39 of Public Act 91-0020, as 27 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 28 to the Historic Preservation Agency for grants to units of 29 local government, educational facilities, and not-for-profit 30 organizations for infrastructure improvements, including but 31 not limited to planning, construction, reconstruction, -15- BOB-HPA01 1 renovation, equipment, utilities and vehicles. 2 Section 31. The sum of $300,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 4 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 5 made in Article 30, Section 40 of Public Act 91-0020, as 6 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 7 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 8 Edwardsville for the Wildey Theater acquisition and 9 restoration to the original state. 10 Section 32. The sum of $260,500, or so much thereof as 11 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 12 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 13 made in Article 30, Section 41 of Public Act 91-0020, as 14 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 15 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 16 Madison County Historical Museum to repair and renovate Weir 17 House and annexation. 18 Section 33. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as 19 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 20 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 21 made in Article 30, Section 43 of Public Act 91-0020, as 22 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 23 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the City 24 of Joliet for the Joliet Historical Society establishment of 25 the Joliet Area History Museum. 26 Section 34. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as 27 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 28 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 29 made in Article 30, Section 44 of Public Act 91-0020, as 30 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future -16- BOB-HPA01 1 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to the 2 Village of Oak Park for Ernest Hemingway birthplace 3 restoration. 4 Section 35. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as 5 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 6 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 7 made in Article 30, Section 45 of Public Act 91-0020, as 8 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' 9 Future to the Historical Preservation Agency for a grant to 10 the Canal Corridor Association for Illinois and Michigan 11 Canal. 12 Section 36. The sum of $55,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 14 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 15 made in Article 30, Section 46 of Public Act 91-0020, as 16 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 17 to the Historic Preservation Agency for a grant to Friends of 18 the Albany Mounds Foundation for land acquisition. 19 Section 37. The sum of $1,295,000, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the close of 21 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 22 made in Article 30, Section 47 of Public Act 91-0020, as 23 amended, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future 24 to the Historic Preservation Agency for grants to units of 25 local government and not-for-profit organizations for 26 infrastructure improvements, including but not limited to 27 planning, construction, renovation, restoration and 28 equipment. 29 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 30 July 1, 2000.
