The sum of $8,000,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation 31 Regulatory Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for 32 disbursing funds collected for the Single State Insurance HB4365 Engrossed -4- BOB-ICC01 1 Registration Program to be distributed to: (1) participating 2 states, provided that no distributions exceed funds made 3 available from registration collections; and (2) for refunds 4 for overpayments. 5 Section 5. The sum of $1,550,000, or so much thereof as 6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation 7 Regulatory Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 8 monitoring railroad crossing safety. 9 Section 6. The sum of $1,400,000, or so much thereof as 10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Public Utility 11 Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 12 implementing the Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate 13 Relief Law of 1997. 14 Section 7. The sum of $584,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 16 Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 17 implementing the Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate 18 Relief Law of 1997, including costs in prior years. 19 Section 8. The sum of $850,000, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 21 Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 22 implementing a consumer education program regarding the 23 Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate Relief Law of 1997. 24 Section 9. The sum of $600,000, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation 26 Regulatory Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 27 planning, developing, and implementing a multi-agency "one 28 stop" electronic credentialing system for commercial vehicles 29 operating to, from, and through Illinois. HB4365 Engrossed -5- BOB-ICC01 1 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 2 July 1, 2000.
