91_HB4227eng HB4227 Engrossed LRB9112292ACtm 1 AN ACT to amend the Environmental Protection Act. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended 5 by changing Section 24 as follows: 6 (415 ILCS 5/24) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1024) 7 Sec. 24. Prohibited acts. No person shall emit beyond the 8 boundaries of his property any noise that unreasonably 9 interferes with the enjoyment of life or with any lawful 10 business or activity, so as to violate any regulation or 11 standard adopted by the Board under this Act. 12 (Source: P.A. 76-2429.)
