1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4119
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4119 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 24 through 26 with the following:
4 "placement. Upon the local team's determination of the need
5 for residential services, the Department must exercise due
6 diligence to"; and
7 on page 2, line 31, after "Grant.", by inserting "The school
8 district, local screening agents, and service providers must
9 hold an individualized education program meeting to determine
10 the need for the residential placement of an individual for
11 educational purposes."; and
12 on page 3, by replacing lines 30 and 31 with the following:
13 "(a) The State Board of Education must assure that
14 appropriate educational services are provided by local school
15 districts to children and adolescents with mental".
