1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4020
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4020 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing
5 Section 23-30."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
9 Section 23-30 as follows:
10 (35 ILCS 200/23-30)
11 Sec. 23-30. Conference on tax objection. After
12 Following the filing of an objection under Section 23-10, the
13 court may hold a conference with the objector and the State's
14 Attorney. Compromise agreements on tax objections reached by
15 conference shall be filed with the court, and the parties
16 shall prepare an order covering the settlement and submit the
17 order to the court for entry.
