1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3928
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3928, AS AMENDED,
3 as follows:
4 in Section 40, subsection (c), the second sentence, by
5 replacing "must comprise 11 members" with "must comprise 9
6 members"; and
7 in Section 40, subsection (c), the second sentence, by
8 replacing "(vi) one licensed installer; (vii) one licensed
9 manufacturer; (viii) one building official familiar with the
10 installation of mobile homes; and (ix) one individual who
11 works with consumer financing." with the following:
12 "(vi) one licensed installer; and (vii) one licensed
13 manufacturer. Each individual described in items (iv), (v),
14 (vi), and (vii) must be active members of either the Illinois
15 Manufactured Housing Association or the Illinois Housing
16 Institute."; and
17 in Section 40, subsection (e), by deleting "3 members of the
18 Board upon delivery of a written notice to"; and
19 in Section 45, in the first sentence following the Section
20 heading, by inserting "for a violation of this Act" after "6
21 months"; and
22 in Section 60, in the first sentence following the Section

1 heading, by replacing "It" with the following:
2 "Except as provided in Section 65, it"; and
3 in Section 60, in the last sentence, by inserting "to which
4 this Act applies" after "unit of local government"; and
5 by inserting after Section 60 the following:
6 "Section 65. Applicability. This Act does not apply to
7 home rule municipalities with a population in excess of
8 1,000,000.".
