1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3229
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3229 on page 1, in
3 line 28, by replacing "$10" with "$7.50"; and
4 on page 2, in line 33, by replacing "$4.25" with "$7.50
5 $4.25"; and
6 on page 3, by replacing lines 3 through 6 with the following:
7 "of $7.50 $4.25 per capita. If a library receiving an
8 equalization grant reduces its tax levy below the amount
9 levied at the time the original application is approved, it
10 shall be ineligible to receive further equalization grants.".
