1 AN ACT in relation to the State Treasurer.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended by
5 changing Section 17.1 as follows:
6 (15 ILCS 505/17.1) (from Ch. 130, par. 17.1)
7 Sec. 17.1. Rules. The Treasurer shall have the power to
8 make and provide rules and regulations necessary for the
9 effective administrative performance of the duties imposed
10 upon him or her by law. Such rules and regulations shall be
11 promulgated in accordance with the provisions of "the
12 Illinois Administrative Procedure Act", as amended.
