1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. "AN ACT regarding appropriations and
5 reappropriations", Public Act 91-20, approved June 7, 1999,
6 is amended by adding Section 31 to Article 14 as follows:
7 (P.A. 91-20, Article 14, Section 31 new)
8 Sec. 31. The amount of $10,000,000, or so much of that
9 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
10 Revenue Fund to the Department of Agriculture for the
11 implementation of programs and activities to promote,
12 develop, and enhance the biotechnology industry in Illinois.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
