1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2827
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2827 by replacing
3 lines 31 through 34 of page 4 and lines 1 through 4 of page 5
4 with the following:
5 "the respondent, the Department shall conduct a fact
6 finding conference prior to 365 days after the date on
7 which the charge was filed, unless the Director has
8 determined whether there is substantial evidence that the
9 alleged civil rights violation has been committed or the
10 charge has been dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. If
11 the parties agree in writing, the fact finding conference
12 may be held at a time after the 365 day limit. Any".
