1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Department of
2 Commerce and Community Affairs.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
7 Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community
8 Affairs for the purpose of a grant to Calumet City for all
9 costs associated with the improvement of the earthen dike
10 along the Little Calumet River from State Line Road to the
11 Penn Central Station.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
13 July 1, 1999.
