1 AN ACT concerning economic development.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
5 amended by changing Section 46.3 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 605/46.3) (from Ch. 127, par. 46.3)
7 Sec. 46.3. Collect and assemble information. To
8 collect and assemble, or cause to have collected and
9 assembled, information regarding the following: industrial
10 opportunities and possibilities of the State, including raw
11 materials, and products that may be produced therefrom; power
12 and water resources, transportation facilities; available
13 markets; availability of labor; banking and financial
14 facilities; availability of industrial sites; the advantages
15 of the State as a whole, and particular sections thereof as
16 industrial, recreational and tourist locations; and provide
17 information on the technologies available for businesses to
18 burn Illinois coal and the feasibility of such systems; and
19 such other matters as the Department may deem desirable.
