1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by changing Section 43a and adding Section 43a.15.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by changing Section 43a by adding Section 43a.15 as
7 follows:
8 (20 ILCS 1005/43a) (from Ch. 127, par. 43a)
9 Sec. 43a. The Department of Employment Security has the
10 powers enumerated in the following Sections preceding Section
11 44a 43a.01 to 43a.12.

14 Sec. 43a.15. Reduce barriers to women's unemployment
15 insurance. The Department shall implement policies to reduce
16 the barriers women experience in qualifying for unemployment
17 insurance.
