The sum of $50,000, or so much thereof as 27 may be necessary, is appropriated to from the General Revenue 28 Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency to computerize 29 survey files used in regulatory review and compliance and 30 National Register programs. 31 Section 3b. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as 32 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic -5- HDS91HB2451GPa106mm 1 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for awards and 2 grants for historic preservation programs made either 3 independently or in cooperation with the Federal Government 4 or any agency thereof, any municipal corporation, or 5 political subdivision of the State, or with any public or 6 private corporation, organization, or individual. 7 Section 3c. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 9 business on June 30, 1999, from appropriations and 10 reappropriations heretofore made in Article 78, Sections 3a 11 and 3b of Public Act 90-0585, as amended, is reappropriated 12 from the Illinois Historic Sites Fund to the Historic 13 Preservation Agency for awards and grants for historic 14 preservation programs made either independently or in 15 cooperation with the Federal Government or any agency 16 thereof, any municipal corporation, or political subdivision 17 of the State, or with any public or private corporation, 18 organization, or individual. 19 Section 4. The sum of $600,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Historic 30 Sites Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for 31 operations, maintenance, repairs, permanent improvements, 32 special events, and all other costs related to the operation 33 of Illinois Historic Sites and only to the extent which -8- HDS91HB2451GPa106mm 1 donations are received at Illinois State Historic Sites. 2 Section 7. The sum of $438,400, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 4 business on June 30, 1999, from appropriations heretofore 5 made in Article 78, Section 9 of Public Act 90-0585, is 6 reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic 7 Preservation Agency for the restoration of the Jarrot 8 Mansion. 9 Section 8. The amount of $230,400, or so much thereof as 10 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 11 business on June 30, 1999, from a reappropriation heretofore 12 made for such purpose in Article 91, Section 6.4 of Public 13 Act 90-0585, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14 to the Historic Preservation Agency for planning a new 15 historical library and Lincoln Center. 16 Section 9. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may 17 be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 18 business on June 30, 1999, from appropriations heretofore 19 made in Article 78, Section 11 of Public Act 90-0585 is 20 reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic 21 Preservation Agency for a grant to the Fox River Trolley 22 Museum for all costs associated with the extension of the 23 museum railway. 24 Section 10. The sum of $1,430,000, or so much thereof as 25 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 26 business on June 30, 1999, from appropriations heretofore 27 made in Article 78, Section 19 of Public Act 90-0585 is 28 reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic 29 Preservation Agency for a grant to the Mid South Planning and 30 Development Commission for the restoration of the Overton -9- HDS91HB2451GPa106mm 1 Hygenic Building. 2 Section 11. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of 4 business on June 30, 1999, from appropriations heretofore 5 made in Article 78, Section 27 of Public Act 90-0585 is 6 reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Historic 7 Preservation Agency for a grant to Gallatin County for the 8 purchase of the Crenshaw House. 9 Section 12. The amounts appropriated for repairs and 10 maintaintance and other capital improvements in Section 5 for 11 repairs and/or replacements, and miscellaneous capital 12 improvements at the agency's various historical sites, and 13 are to include construction, reconstruction, improvements, 14 repairs and installation of capital facilities, costs of 15 planning, supplies, materials, and all other types of repairs 16 and maintenance, and capital improvements. 17 No contract shall be entered into or obligation incurred 18 for repairs and maintenance and other capital improvements 19 from appropriations made in Section 5 of this Article until 20 after the purposes and amounts have been approved in writing 21 by the Governor.".
