91_HB2210ham001 LRB9103954SMdvam01 1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2210 2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2210 on page 1, by 3 replacing lines 12 through 22 with the following: 4 ""Child care center" means a for-profit or not-for-profit 5 licensed day care center, as defined in the Child Care Act of 6 1969, serving children in a setting outside of the home. 7 "Child care group home" means a licensed group day care 8 home as defined in the Child Care Act of 1969. 9 "Child care home" means a licensed day care home as 10 defined in the Child Care Act of 1969."; and 11 on page 2, by replacing lines 1 through 5 with the following: 12 "(a) Accredited licensed child care centers and 13 accredited licensed child care homes currently receiving 14 funds from the Department's subsidized child care program or 15 the Department of Children and Family Services' subsidized 16 child care program shall be paid a subsidy rate 10% higher 17 than the maximum rates established by the Department for the 18 care provided depending on the age of the child, geographic 19 location of the center, and type of care."; and 20 on page 2, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with the 21 following: 22 "Section 25. Eligibility. In order to be eligible for 23 funding under Section 20 regarding the public-private -2- LRB9103954SMdvam01 1 partnership, at least 25% of the children served by the 2 program must be receiving child care subsidies from the 3 Department or the Department of Children and Family 4 Services."; and 5 on page 2, line 28, by replacing "2000" with "1999".
