1 AN ACT to amend the Homelessness Prevention Act by
2 changing Section 3.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Homelessness Prevention Act is amended by
6 changing Section 3 as follows:
7 (310 ILCS 70/3) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 1303)
8 Sec. 3. Definitions. As used in this Act:
9 (a) "Department" means the Department of Human Services
10 (acting as successor to the Illinois Department of Public Aid
11 under the Department of Human Services Act).
12 (b) "Household" means 2 or more persons residing
13 together, or a person living alone.
