91_HB2067enr HB2067 Enrolled LRB9103818NTsb 1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by adding Sections 2 10-20.34 and 34-18.21. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections 6 10-20.34 and 34-18.21 as follows: 7 (105 ILCS 5/10-20.34 new) 8 Sec. 10-20.34. Medicaid-eligible children; health care 9 resources. As authorized by federal law, a school district 10 may access federally funded health care resources if the 11 school district provides early periodic screening and 12 diagnostic testing services, including screening and 13 diagnostic services, health care and treatment, preventive 14 health care, or any other measure, to correct or improve 15 health impairments of Medicaid-eligible children. 16 (105 ILCS 5/34-18.21 new) 17 Sec. 34-18.21. Medicaid-eligible children; health care 18 resources. As authorized by federal law, the school district 19 may access federally funded health care resources if the 20 school district provides early periodic screening and 21 diagnostic testing services, including screening and 22 diagnostic services, health care and treatment, preventive 23 health care, or any other measure, to correct or improve 24 health impairments of Medicaid-eligible children. 25 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 26 becoming law.
