1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1805
2 AMENDMENT NO. ____. Amend House Bill 1805, on page 2, by
3 replacing line 7 with the following:
4 "property, including the sale or lease of property via mail,
5 telecommunications, or the internet."; and
6 on page 3, line 31, by replacing "personal; and" with
7 "personal;"; and
8 on page 4, line 3, by replacing "Act." with "Act; and"; and
9 on page 4, immediately below line 3, by inserting the
10 following:
11 "(4) an auction conducted by a business registered
12 as a market agency under the federal Packers and
13 Stockyards Act (7 U.S.C. 181 et seq.) or under the
14 Livestock Auction Market Law."; and
15 on page 4, immediately below line 9, by inserting the
16 following:
17 "(c) Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit
18 a person under the age of 18 from selling property under $250
19 in value while under the direct supervision of a licensed
20 auctioneer."; and
21 on page 12, line 11, after "written", by inserting "or oral".
