1 AN ACT to amend the Emergency Telephone System Act by
2 changing Section 9.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Emergency Telephone System Act is amended
6 by changing Section 9 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 750/9) (from Ch. 134, par. 39)
8 Sec. 9. Consultation with other agencies. To
9 accomplish the responsibilities specified in this Act, the
10 Commission is directed to consult at regular intervals with
11 the State Fire Marshal, the Department of Public Health, the
12 Department of Transportation, the public utilities in this
13 State providing telephone service, the Department of State
14 Police, and the State Division of Forestry. Those Such
15 agencies shall provide all necessary assistance and
16 consultation to the Commission to enable it to perform its
17 duties specified in this Act.
