1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 2-3.60.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 2-3.60 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.60) (from Ch. 122, par. 2-3.60)
8 Sec. 2-3.60. Continuing education programs. The State
9 Board of Education shall require school districts,
10 cooperatives or joint agreements with a governing board or
11 board of control, administrative agents for educational
12 service centers, and regional superintendents acting on
13 behalf of such entities to design programs which provide
14 continuing education to update or improve a teacher's skill
15 or knowledge in order to maintain a high level of
16 performance.
