1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by adding Section
2 2-3.126.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
6 2-3.126 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.126 new)
8 Sec. 2-3.126. Vocational education revitalization grant
9 program. The State Board of Education shall establish and
10 administer a vocational education revitalization grant
11 program. Under this program, school districts that have
12 unused or underfunded vocational education programs may apply
13 for grants to revitalize their vocational education programs.

15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
16 1, 1999.
