1 AN ACT to amend the Automated Teller Machine Security Act
2 by changing Section 25.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Automated Teller Machine Security Act is
6 amended by changing Section 25 as follows:
7 (205 ILCS 695/25)
8 Sec. 25. Terminals to which Act not applicable. This Act
9 shall does not apply to any automated teller machine that:
10 (1) is located inside a building, unless it is a
11 freestanding installation that exists for the sole purpose of
12 providing an enclosure for the automated teller machine;
13 (2) is located inside a building, except to the extent a
14 transaction can be conducted from outside the building; or
15 (3) is located in any area, including any access area,
16 building, enclosed space, or parking area, that is not
17 controlled by the operator.
