1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Insurance Code by changing
2 Section 356f.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
6 changing Section 356f as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 5/356f) (from Ch. 73, par. 968f)
8 Sec. 356f. DES exclusion prohibited. No policy of
9 accident or health insurance or any renewal thereof shall be
10 denied or cancelled by the insurer, nor shall any such policy
11 contain any exception or exclusion of benefits, solely
12 because the mother of the insured has taken
13 diethylstilbestrol, commonly referred to as DES.
