1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Department of
2 Commerce and Community Affairs.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $20,000,000, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
7 Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for
8 Industrial Development Grants to supplement training programs
9 to provide on-the-job training demonstration projects and for
10 training grants to assist dislocated manufacturing workers
11 and farmers and for Industrial Development Grants to
12 supplement training programs to provide on-the-job training
13 demonstration projects including prior year costs.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
15 July 1, 1999.
