91_HB1310eng HB1310 Engrossed LRB9102094ACtm 1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois 2 by adding Section 60.4. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 6 amended by adding Section 60.4 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 2105/60.4 new) 8 Sec. 60.4. Notice of mandatory reporting of elder abuse. 9 The Department shall include in the information provided to 10 applicants under the Illinois Dental Practice Act, the 11 Medical Practice Act of 1987, the Podiatric Medical Practice 12 Act, and the Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act a 13 notice advising those applicants of their duty to report 14 incidents of abuse or neglect with respect to a resident of a 15 long term facility under Section 4 of the Abused and 16 Neglected Long Term Care Facility Residents Reporting Act and 17 suspicions of abuse or neglect with respect to an eligible 18 adult under Section 4 of the Elder Abuse and Neglect Act.
