91_HB1146enr HB1146 Enrolled LRB9102830NTsb 1 AN ACT concerning the Illinois Community College Board, 2 amending named Acts. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding 6 Section 5.490 as follows: 7 (30 ILCS 105/5.490 new) 8 Sec. 5.490. The Video Conferencing User Fund. 9 Section 10. The Public Community College Act is amended 10 by adding Section 2-16.04 as follows: 11 (110 ILCS 805/2-16.04 new) 12 Sec. 2-16.04. Video Conferencing User Fund. The Video 13 Conferencing User Fund is created as a special fund in the 14 State treasury. The State Board may charge a fee to other 15 State agencies and non-State entities for the use of the 16 State Board's video conferencing facilities. This fee shall 17 be deposited into the Video Conferencing User Fund. All 18 money in the Video Conferencing User Fund shall be used, 19 subject to appropriation, by the State Board to pay for 20 telecommunications charges as billed by the Department of 21 Central Management Services and upgrades to the system as 22 needed. 23 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 24 1, 1999.
