1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Capital Development
2 Board.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $2,000,000, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Capital
7 Development Board (i) for the acquisition from the City of
8 Springfield of the approximately 7 acres of property in the
9 Oak Ridge Cemetery that surrounds the Illinois Vietnam
10 Veterans Memorial and the Illinois Korean War Memorial to be
11 used as an all wars memorial area and (ii) for the planning,
12 construction, and related costs to build a Ceremonial
13 Pavilion on the acquired property.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
15 July 1, 1999.
