1 AN ACT to amend the Counties Code by changing Section
2 6-1008.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing
6 Section 6-1008 as follows:
7 (55 ILCS 5/6-1008) (from Ch. 34, par. 6-1008)
8 Sec. 6-1008. Violations. Any person who violates, or who
9 neglects or fails to comply with, the terms of this Division
10 commits a Class B misdemeanor. In cases of violation of this
11 Division by action of the county board, each member of the
12 board participating in the violation is guilty of the offense
13 such action shall be subject to the aforesaid sentences.
