91_HB0916eng HB0916 Engrossed LRB9103422MWmb 1 AN ACT concerning cooperative agreements for floodwater 2 management in unincorporated areas of a county. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Intergovernmental Cooperation Act is 6 amended by adding Section 3.8 as follows: 7 (5 ILCS 220/3.8 new) 8 Sec. 3.8. Floodwater management. Without limitation, a 9 municipality may enter into intergovernmental agreements with 10 a township for floodwater management in the unincorporated 11 areas of a county.
