1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 763
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 763 on page 3, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "(c) Upon a referral from the Ombudsman, the State's
5 Attorney of the county in which any violation of this Act
6 occurs or the Attorney General shall bring an action in the
7 name of the people of the State of Illinois or may, in
8 addition to other remedies provided in this Act, bring an
9 action for an injunction to restrain the violation. Any
10 person who violates this Act shall be guilty of a Class C
11 misdemeanor. Each day's violation constitutes a separate
12 offense.".
