1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section 18-6.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
5 Section 18-6 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 5/18-6) (from Ch. 122, par. 18-6)
7 Sec. 18-6. Supervisory expenses. The State Board of
8 Education shall annually request an appropriation from the
9 common school fund for regional office of education expenses,
10 aggregating $1,000 per county per year for each educational
11 service region. The State Board of Education shall present
12 vouchers to the State Comptroller as soon as may be after the
13 first day of August each year for each regional office of
14 education. Each regional office of education may draw upon
15 this fund for the expenses necessarily incurred in providing
16 for supervisory services in the region.
